My name is Lica and I have been a blogger for five years now, as far as I can remember. This is not my only outlet for my odd ideas, I have a number of social networks just like everyone else - Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Livejournal, name it, I have it
most probably; but for now, this will serve as my sanctuary for sanity. For starters, I am 22 years old, with a college degree in Communication Arts.
After graduation, I pursued a different field, and thankfully I am almost done with it. I am a soon to be chef! who is passionate about writing and photography. ALL IN ALL, I am joyful about everything and anything in my life for God is at the center of it all.

We are in the last leg of our course, hurrah! Our last requirement is a business plan of our proposed restaurant. My partner Carla and I,  thought of putting up a fine dining Italian restaurant. Details of our plan will be reserved for later. I need some form of relaxation for a few minutes. Anyway, for me to unwind and reserve my remaining strength, I decided to draw our employees' uniforms.     I miss being creative. I also miss practicing my first course! Upon submitting my drawings, my classmate also asked me to draw a uniform for their sports bar and grill. They did not provide any colors for the 'unis' just yet, but I wanted to color it myself. Obviously, it should be purple! HAHA  Whooo...back to work. First time Votee

First time votee!! I feel so accomplished and pro-active. I woke up early to get to our precinct at around 7:30 am. My parents, household help and I were registered at the Valle Verde 2 clubhouse. We all lined up to look for our number, my name was under 527A while the rest of them were all under 527C. Thankfully, we did not stay inside the precinct that long. While waiting for my turn to vote, friends started calling in, asking me if I already voted or if I was in the process of making my vote. Every one of us was psyched to shade our first ballot! We all had our own stories to tell, some of my friends were stuck under the sun's rays while waiting to get inside their precincts and others were able to vote hassle-free. After getting my ballot, I carefully shaded Richard Gordon's name for president, followed by Bayani Fernando as vice. I took extra time to blacken the circles of my copy, in fear that it might get denied if I was not able to shade them correctly. OC! HAHA, okay na yung sigurista, di ba? I inserted the copy in the PCOS machine and had my fingers marked with ink. Grabe yung finger ko, kala mo may galit si kuya! Until now, the evidence of voting can still be seen in my right index finger! I cannot remove it completely. I've done everything! washed my hands N times, rubbed it with acetone, the works! Wala pa rin. After voting, we had lunch with my balikbayan tita in Italianni's Eastwood.    FOOD OVERLOAD!! Did I mention that my family and I are trying to go vegan because of my mom? so we do not really get to eat that much at home. Imagine my appetite when I learned that we will dine in Italianni's, which is one of my favorite restaurants. KABOOM. Oh well, I need to work on our paper, so I can't really blog much. Will blog again soon! being out of 'business'

Dugged up from the grave. Dear Mr. / Mrs. Toledo, First of all I would like to introduce myself; I am Mike, recent boyfriend of Lica. I wrote this letter to explain everything, what Lica and I had been through. We met in an online chat room 6 years ago…and all I thought was just a normal night for us, changed our lives, and began our friendship. Every time we go online, we would always talk about our lives, our likes, interests, and simple conversations. She is a very nice, intelligent, and sweet person…a person whom I can rely on, a person that I can go to for ideas, and pieces of advice on problems. All along I thought na hanggang dun lang talaga kami, but I was wrong, it was just a start and we became really close friends, 2 years after we met at a coffee shop in Katipunan ( don’t worry she didn’t skip school hehehe I waited for the time she was free). Her life is so wonderful because she has a family that really loves her and cares for her and that made me a bit envious because I’ve never had a complete and happy family. As time came by, I felt this feeling…a feeling that I am starting to like her, but I controlled it because during that time I was still with my ex- girlfriend. Si Lica po lagi ko kinekwentuhan ng problems ko sa ex ko and that time hindi ko alam na gusto na din po niya ako. That time, our situation made us confused kung ano talaga gusto namin…I said I would just have to wait for the right time because ayoko po siya masaktan. During that time that she already liked me..dun po siya nagsimula mahirapan..pero lagi ko po sinasabi to hang on and things will go well if we have patience... I always tell her what we were doing is wrong, but I guess what’s truly in our hearts that made us even closer. Then from time to time when she has a free time…lagi ko po siya binibisita…I know it is really a bad thing na tumatakas po siya..but I never told her to skip school…lagi ko po sinasabi na to do her best in school which fortunately she very well did…time came and we started our relationship. I know that labag po sa inyo yung relationship naming, lalo na hindi niyo po ako kilala personally. Lica is a very wonderful person..never did I met someone like her, which brought us closer…I really do understand that you are just protecting her and sobrang mahal niyo po siya kaya niyo po siya nilalayo…it is really hard for me because I didn’t get the chance to explain everything…sobrang mahal na mahal ko po si Lica. Every short time that I am with her, were the happiest moments. We may live in different lifestyles, different worlds, but I made sure I give her the sweetest love I can offer…I am really sorry for everything that happened…the times na tumatakas siya, the times na nagkikita kami…it was wrong… I do hope na patawarin niyo po si Lica, but that is the only way we can be together… and now we’re separated, it isn’t because we fought or something went wrong…I let her decide to leave our relationship dahil ayoko po siya nahihirapan na…sobrang hirap na po kami sa relationship namin na hindi po kami makapagkita or even take her out on a short date… sa text lang po kami madalas naguusap…we tried to fight it and I always told her na magiging okay din ang lahat, but I guess hindi na nya talaga kaya na ganito kami..ayoko din po nahihirapan kayo ng dad niya when it comes to her…kahit mahirap po sakin dahil mahal na mahal ko po si Lica tatanggapin ko…like they say kung mahal niyo po yung person learn to set her free…I always pray to God to guide her always like I always do…she is the only happiness I have, but sometimes we need to sacrifice things. It hass been a very great honor for you to read my letter. I hope makilala ko po kayo personally and her dad…lagi ko po pinagdadasal na makilala ko po kayo and makasama kayo kahit for a moment lng hehehe…thank you so much and I always pray na sana maging okay po kayo lahat… Thank you.
